Hi everyone! Well time is going by so very quickly. As of Sunday, June 20 - there are only 43 days left till the "I do's" (but hey, who's counting?). We are both looking forward to the beach, blue waters and some major rest and relaxation. We know, it's a tough assignment, but I think we are both up to the challenge. Here is some information about the wedding and the reception: The ceremony will take place at The Renaissance, Wailea Beach Resort in Maui, Hawaii in a wedding garden island, "Aina Aloha", surrounded by waterfalls and a lush tropical garden. A walk down to the resort's private beach (Mokapu Beach) after the ceremony will take place to catch the sunset and to take some photos. After watching the sunset, we invite our guests to join us for dinner at the Resort's Palm Court - an open-air dining room overlooking the ocean. Date : Monday, August 2, 1999 at 530pm Location : Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort 3550 Wailea Alanui Drive Wailea,Maui,Hawaii | ||||||||||||||||

Maui will be a special moment in our lives and we would feel honoured to share this occasion with our family and friends. TRAVEL UPDATES So far, our parents, and Tenny's good friend, Liz have booked their tickets for Maui. We are all leaving (direct flight) Friday, July 30. Our parents and friend are returning August 6 and we are returning August 13. We are all flying Canada 3000. In the summer months, Canada 3000 only departs (from Vancouver) and arrives (in Maui) on Fridays. The benefits of going with Canada 3000 are that it offers direct flights to Maui and is often cheaper. However, keep your eye open for Air Canada summer deals. Most of the package deals advertised include airfare, hotel/condo, and car rental. The travel section of the Vancouver Sun currently has deals advertised for May and up to mid-June. Late summer packages might start to show up mid-June. If you're interested you can call Canada 3000 directly to inquire about flights/condos etc. The travel agent that we have been working with is Barry Donaldson (at Canada 3000)- his direct number is 609-3006 (8-4pm, Mon-Fri). If you talk to him, tell him your attending our wedding (the file is under Tenny Chandy). Your local travel agent might also be able to tell you about upcoming deals as well. If anyone is seriously interested in coming or even if you are at the thinking stage, drop us an email. Of course, you can just say hi too! Neil's email is [email protected] and Tenny's email is below. Well, I'm sure most of you know that Neil has been back in BC just over a month. And yes, he's already secured a student-summer fulltime job in downtown Vancouver. Tenny has been busy with school and work. However, recently as of June 11 - she has resigned from work to put some major efforts into finishing her thesis at UBC. Right now, for both us...Maui is lookin' pretty good, however, we still need to chip away at some of our work/school projects before we're home free. Some of you may already know that we met at a wedding two years ago on...August 2. Wouldn't you know that's the same day as our wedding!! And no, it wasn't intentional, it just kind of turned out that way, but hey isn't that kind of neat? After our wedding and honeymoon in Maui- we hope to drive across Canada to New Brunswick on August 23 or 24. Then soon we'll be getting ready for the cooold Maritime winters but alas...we're sure memories of beaches, tropical sunsets and pina coladas will not be forgotten...
